Rengöring och hantering av PU-överdrag på engelska
- Recommended daily cleaning: wipe off the PU-cover using a mild soapy solution and dry thoroughly before use/storage.
- The PU cover is machine-washable at 95°C and may be tumble-dried at the low temperature setting. The PU-cover should be washed turned inside out, with the zipper open. Use a detergent with a pH-value of 5.5–9.0.
- Do not mangle the PU cover.
- In washing machines, it may be difficult to wet out full covers. Correspondingly, spinning and tumbling may not remove water trapped between layers. It may be helpful to interrupt the washing or drying cycles to alleviate this.
- The PU cover can be wiped cleaned using microfiber cleaning cloths.
- The PU cover can also be cleaned using normal hospital disinfectants such as: 70% ethanol or 0.1% sodium hypochlorite.
- Disinfectants and cleaning products must be thoroughly rinsed or wiped off. The PU cover must be dry before using or storing.
NB:
Some surface wrinkling may result from cleaning procedures. This has no adverse effect on the PU’s properties.
